About Me

Ifeanyi is a trained materials engineer who has some years of experience in enhancing the performance of engineering materials and structural components using both computational and experimental techniques. He possesses a working knowledge of computational modelling and design tools, materials selection tools, as well as mechanical and characterization tools. He also has a good knowledge of design codes (ASME BPVC Section VIII) and Fitness-For-Service codes (API 579-1/ASME FFS-1) for pressurized vessels. In addition, he has built some experience in the commercial sector as a business officer and project manager, building and driving SMEs to profitability. He is currently doing his PhD in Mechanics at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, where he is studying failure analysis of boiler tubes for industrial applications. He is passionate to see how he can make a meaningful impact in the society that will transcend conducting experimental or computational analyses, but will also translate into solving industrial and societal problems.
